Dry vacuuming

Before dry extraction, make sure that the filter, container and extractor accessories are dry. Dust can adhere to damp parts and become encrusted.

The use of a fleece filter bag (20) is recommended.

Extracting dust that accumulates from working power tools (see figure J)

There must be a sufficient air exchange rate in the room when the exhaust air comes back into the room. Be aware of the corresponding national regulations.

The dust extractor has an integrated plug socket for power tools (6), which can be used to connect an external power tool. Observe the maximum permitted load of the connected power tool.

Connect the extraction outlet of the power tool and the vacuum hose (23) either directly or via the dust extraction adapter (27).

Note when using the dust extraction adapter: When working with power tools that have a low air feed into the vacuum hose, the false air intake (34) of the dust extraction adapter (27) must be opened. This will improve the total output of the dust extractor and the power tool. To do this, turn the ring above the false air intake (34) until the opening is at its maximum size.

With the automatic start/stop feature, you can switch the dust extractor on and off automatically using the power tool:

To switch on the automatic start/stop feature, push the mode selector switch (4) to position 1+.
To switch on the dust extractor, switch on the connected power tool. The dust extractor will start automatically.

Make sure that the dust extractor has started after the power tool has been switched on.

To stop extraction, switch off the power tool. The automatic start/stop feature will run for a few seconds longer in order to extract the remaining dust from the vacuum hose.
To switch off the dust extractor, push the mode selector switch (4) to position 0.

Semi-automatic filter cleaning

You should clean the filter at the latest when the suction power is no longer sufficient.

How often filter cleaning needs to be carried out will depend on the type and quantity of dust that has been extracted. With regular use, the maximum conveying capacity will be maintained for longer.

Switch on the dust extractor (mode selector switch (4) to position 1).

For optimum cleaning efficiency, use the palm of your hand to close the nozzle or vacuum hose opening.

Press the semi-automatic filter cleaning button (11) at least five times in succession. The filter is cleaned by a strong air flow.
